Gaston Missionary Baptist Church, Inc. encourages all people to a lifelong joyous relationship with Jesus Christ and all believers. Our history dates back to 1869, when a small group of people founded a church in Gaston, North Carolina. The church started as a bush arbor. From our humble beginning we are now in the fourth building. More importantly we continue to grow the congregation through worship every Sunday and Christian education every week. Education opportunities are held each Sunday with Sunday School at 10:00 AM and Bible Study Wednesdays after the first and third Sunday. To make the Word more accessible, we have made our services flexible by having services at different times. First, third, and fifth Sundays are held at 11:30 AM. First Sunday is Youth Sunday where the youth conduct the entire service with the exception of the sermon which is done by our pastor. Third and fifth Sundays are led by adults with fifth Sundays reserved as sacrificial Sundays. Second and fourth Sundays, Hour of Power is held at 8:30 AM.

We offer many opportunities for Christian growth and Ministry. Our Youth Ministry provides opportunities for males and females. Youth in Action, Mime Dancers, Anointed Movement of Praise Dancers, and the Do-What-I-Can-Choir made up of toddlers through high school aged youth. The music ministry is very important in worship as is each ministry. Please feel free to learn more about us as we continue to grow and add to our website.
